Our commitment to crafting high-quality, effective, and ethically sourced products starts with our ingredients. We meticulously select each component to ensure it meets our rigorous standards for purity, sustainability, and safety.

Oils: Pure, Sustainable, and Mindfully Sourced

We choose oils that are organic, certified non-GMO, and/or certified as sustainable. Our current selection includes:

• Organic: Coconut, Palm Kernel, Safflower, Sunflower, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter
• Certified non-GMO: Olive, Avocado, Castor Bean Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Canola
• Certified Sustainable: Palm

We are committed to sustainably sourced Palm Oil through our support of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). RSPO is an organization dedicated to promoting the use of sustainable palm oil.

Fragrances & Essential Oils: Nature's Best, Responsibly Formulated

Canyon House Naturals adheres to the proper usage rates of fragrances and essential oils in all products, as set forth by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). IFRA is the leading European organization for safe fragrance formulation. While some scents may naturally be lighter or stronger based on their approved usage rates, our natural fragrances incorporate essential oils, herbal isolates such as linalool, and aromachemicals approved for use at IFRA-approved rates.

Our Essential Oils are therapeutic grade, often sourced from leading suppliers like Plant Guru and Plant Therapy, known for their high-quality essential oils. We ensure quality control, as many oils come with certificates indicating dates of manufacture and plant chemical compounds.

What You Will NOT Find in Canyon House Naturals Products:

We are proud to formulate our products without the following:

• No Parabens: Parabens can mimic estrogen in the body and may disrupt normal hormone system function, affecting reproductive systems.
• No Phthalates: These plasticizers are avoided in our essential oils, herbal extracts, and fragrance components.
• No Benzene or other Petrochemicals: We use no petroleum, mineral, or paraffin in our candles, soaps, or other product creations.
• No Harsh Chemical Cleaners: We never add chlorine, ammonia, formaldehyde, or SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) to our products. SLS can be particularly irritating for those with sensitive skin or conditions like eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis.
• No Detergents: All Canyon House Naturals products are true soaps, not detergents. This means all oils and fats in our soaps are fully saponified (converted into soap using sodium or potassium hydroxide).

Ethical Practices & Transparency

• No Animal Testing: Canyon House Naturals does not test on animals for products we manufacture and are against animal testing.
• Natural Colorants: Micas and pigments used by Canyon House Naturals are ethically sourced, FDA approved, REACH certified, vegan, cruelty-free, and never tested on animals. We also use natural cosmetic clays declared free of microbial pathogens and synthetic colorants.
• Handmade Uniqueness: Due to the handmade nature of our soaps, slight variations in color shades and swirl styles may occur, making each loaf and bar unique.
• Ingredient Updates: Ingredients are listed as of current batch production. Future soap batches are subject to supply availability and cost of ingredients, and changes in ingredient lists are updated here periodically.
