Years later, amidst the bustle of college life, I found myself drawn back to that kitchen magic. Experimenting with traditional lye soap, I began to explore the alchemy of color and fragrance, fueled by many hours absorbing books on soap design. The world of scent, however, blossomed later. I’d always been a collector of aromas, drawn to the crispness of clary sage and rosemary, the soothing blend of mint and lavender. Inspiration came from the natural elegance of Aveda, the youthful exuberance of Victoria's Secret, and the timeless allure of my mother's vintage perfumes. And then there were the discoveries made in small Parisian boutiques on occasional trips through Europe. Each perfume bottle felt like sinking into a secret world, where artisanal fragrances, crafted with meticulous care, whispered stories of far-off places growing Bulgarian roses and resinous woods. These weren't just scents; they were miniature works of art, each bottle holding a unique narrative.
